Assignment #1 - due by Nov. 7

To help you in becoming familiar with this web tool, I'd like you to do the following by Nov. 7, which is to say two weeks from now (Oct. 19).

1.  Find a problem from one of the assignments given during the period from October 20 - Nov. 5.  If you are particularly proud of your solution or answer to the problem, please share it in a comment to the blog.  If you would rather ask a question or get some advice on one of the problems, post that instead, referring to the assignment/problem in either of your remarks.  Your comment needn't be long.

 2.  Find a classmate's comment posted on the site and respond to it.  Your response needs to refer to the specific comment made by the classmate.  If the comment shares an approach to a problem, perhaps you have another approach to share?  If the comment asks for advice or help, feel free to extend a hand and lend insight.  Again, your comment needn't be long, but good English usage is expected.

Mr. Evans' homework blog - An introduction

Dear 6th graders,
   This blog has been created to serve as a forum for homework discussions and ideas.  Even when class is over and I'm not available for extra help, help is near.
   All I ask on homework is that you try each problem assigned.  If you still have questions or concerns that can't easily be addressed, post a comment or question here and I will be sure to include your needs in the next day's discussions.  You might also find that a classmate's comments or suggestions are helpful, so stay tuned.
